Countries are rapidly transitioning to new energy generation. There’s a proportional relationship between new energy technologies and the demand for energy storage.

Africa has notable deposits of minerals required for battery manufacturing, in relatively close proximity, however the continent is not considered as an investment destination for these factories.

As Africans, our goal is to change this narrative by leveraging our access to mining assets, international technology partnerships and public sector support. In doing so, we will contribute to intracontinental trade, job creation, skills development and importantly beneficiation, while acting as a catalyst for new downstream industries.
